During my time at university, I set up a very small jazz band at Robinson – Redbrick. In the covid months, wanting to learn more about arranging and jazz and in love with this music, I arranged four pieces for jazz band: Isn’t this a lovely day, I Loves You Porgy, Bess You is my Woman and Blue Skies. I was on a bit of a Gershwin kick at the time. It was such a joyful process.

Although there are not yet any recordings, the score for isn’t this a lovely day, is available for purchase if you are so desirous. I would love to hear from you, if you are interested in me doing an arrangement for any ensemble.
